Itinerary
We have carefully planned out each day to give you the best possible experience. From exploring historic landmarks to tasting delicious local cuisine, each day is packed with adventure and excitement. Join us as we take you on a journey through some of the most fascinating destinations across our resplendent Sri Lanka.
On arrival at the airport, transfer to the hotel in Kegalle. (3-hour drive).
In the morning visit a Tea plantation and a factory to see the fine process of collecting and manufacturing best quality Ceylon tea.
Proceed to your glamping site in Knuckles. Evening leisure.
After breakfast, pack your lunch and head on to a waterfall trek in the pristine Knuckles Mountain range. Enjoy the breathtaking view while observing the flora and fauna endemic to the area. On completion return to the glamp and take a refreshing dip in the stream.
Proceed to Galoya. At 3pm experience a safari by boat in Senanayaka Samudra which surrounds the Galoya national park. Observe the herds of elephants grazing and number of bird species flocking in the island. And if we are lucky, we will get to see the rare spectacle of elephants swimming across the reservoir.
In the morning visit the organic farm of the glamping site. After that meet the indigenous veddah community of Rathugala lineage. Visit a mini museum which showcase the traditional dwellings and weapons used for hunting.
After that proceed to Koslanda. Evening leisure.
After breakfast proceed to trekking in Upper Diyaluma waterfall, the second highest waterfall in Sri Lanka. The hike through diverse nature takes you up 220m, which is a moderately challenging hike yet well worth it once you reach the top. After the hike enjoy a refreshing dip in the pools to beat the heat of the day!
On completion proceed to Belihuloya. In the evening visit Pahanthudawa fall. This is the last one of a series of waterfalls created by Belihul Oya before it streams into Samanala wewa Reservoir. This waterfall creates a small but deep pool at the bottom which is said to be of immeasurable depth and is in a shape of the wick of a lamp- helps deriving it name (pahana – a lamp).
Early morning climb the rabbit rock which is surrounded by breathtaking views of the stunning mountain range and lush pine forests. The shape of the mountain is just like a rabbit which gave rise to its name. After 2-3 hours trek you will reach the summit which gives the spectacular view of the southern central highlands.
By mid-day proceed to Colombo. Evening at leisure.
Transfer to the airport for departure. Reach 3 hours before the flight.
